We got married 2/29/2012 - We blended our family - We both pursued college educations, Heather in Nursing and Paul as a Paramedic - We got pregnant. The shock of our lives- IDENTICAL TWIN BOYSWe moved several times We advanced our careersLife got busier, Finances got crazier. Our relationship got tough, parenting got tough, work got tough, life got tough! Arguments increased in frequency, voices became raised, our home became dividedWe loved each other, but in a different way. After trying everything we could think of, talking to multiple counselors and therapists, eventually we got divorcedWe struggled when parenting separately, and our kids started acting outAfter our divorce, we took time to evaluate and invest in ourselvesWe attended several coaching courses, had real and meaningful conversations with one anotherWe experienced so much growth individually, together, and as a familyOn 2/29/24, we remarried each other, with a new approach to our relationship
